Within the 2023 publication Future Possible: An Art History of Newfoundland and Labrador for The Rooms, edited by Mireille Eagan, I contributed the chapter “Tall Timber: Reasoning Indigenous Art Histories of Newfoundland and Labrador.” This chapter presents a high-level overview of creative activities throughout time to contour an understanding of how Indigenous art in the region could be understood.
